Meet Myra

Hi, I’m delighted you’re here! Through Intentional Wanderings I hope you’re able to navigate the transitions you’re currently facing in a supported way that leaves you feeling hopeful and nourished.

As a third-culture kid, I was introduced to big transitions early on as my family moved multiple times between the U.S., Pakistan, and Switzerland. I currently live in Virginia, where I'm raising my two children. Some of the most recent transitions I’ve grown through are: becoming a mother, twice (once in the middle of a global pandemic), returning to work postpartum, new jobs, a layoff, a divorce, and a relocation.

Professionally, I have 15 years of experience including international exchange, experiential learning, and professional development programming at Harvard University, The University of Virginia, and a government workforce development program. For the past 8 years I’ve worked as a career coach, trainer, and workshop facilitator. In this work I’ve helped hundreds of people bridge the gap between their current reality and future vision, and align their external goals with their internal values.

I have a B.A. in Communication and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire, an Ed.M. in International Educational Development from Boston University, and have been certified in Successful Strengths Coaching, and Mindfulness Meditation.

Intentional Wanderings coaching sessions and programs are informed by all these experiences, and are infused with elements of mindfulness, visualization, and nature-inspired cyclical living.
